Pickleball, chopped into bite-sized pieces
Relish Pickleball teaches the game from the very start. It’s made for complete beginners: if you’ve never held a paddle, you’re in the right place.
How the lessons work
Lessons come in Paths: ordered lists you work through from the start.
- Beginner foundations (5 lessons)Build the foundations first. There’s no need to rush.
- Fundamentals of control (5 lessons)Control makes every shot easier. Build it one part at a time.
Learn shows every Path and a map of the Fundamentals of control, so you can find the lessons that train the part you want to work on.
Every lesson explains one part of the game and shows it with a teaching visual: an interactive court, an animated rally or a step-by-step guide. Then it’s your turn. Practice gives you a drill to try, questions to check what you understood, and checkpoints to tick off once you can do them.
Under Videos & references, each video plays right in the lesson, credited to the creator who made it, with a link to the original on YouTube. References link to the official pages behind a lesson’s facts, so you can check them yourself.
Why “Relish”?
- It’s made from pickles. The name keeps a little pickle in it, without leaning on the word “pickle” like so many names in the sport.
- It’s chopped small. That’s how Relish teaches: the game in bite-sized pieces that are easy to take in.
- It means enjoyment. To do something “with relish” is to do it with great enjoyment, and to relish something is to savor it. Relish the game, relish the win.
- It says what to do. Read “Relish Pickleball” as a sentence: enjoy this sport.
- It’s easy to remember. It’s short and sweet.
